VHCDP Loan Program Application

Instructions

The following information is needed for VHCDP to process a loan application. The application form should take about 20 minutes to complete once you have collected all required information and materials. All personal, financial, and business plan information you provide to VHCDP is kept confidential and will be not shared with outside parties without your consent. 


Please note that this online application form requires you to complete and submit the application form in one session; your work cannot be saved for later modifications once you exit this page or press "Submit".  Required supplemental materials (in pdf format only) may be added to your application by using the "Upload files" button.

 

If you would prefer to work offline, you can download a pdf version of the application form and complete it at your convenience, then submit it with supporting documents via email to info@vhcdp.org. Click this link for a downloadable pdf copy of the loan application form.

For a new business, please submit these documents/information

  • Written business plan. (A suggested worksheet is available here.) 

  • Personal tax returns for the most recent two years

  • Most recent bank statements for all bank accounts

  • Most recent credit card statements for all credit card accounts

  • Copies of any loans outstanding and balance still owing


For an existing business, please submit these documents:

  • Business tax returns for the most recent two years or Schedule C

  • Current balance sheet and Profit & Loss Statement

  • Most recent bank statements for all bank accounts

  • Copies of any loans outstanding and balance still owing

By signing this loan application, you certify that all information in your application and submitted with your application is true and correct to the best of your knowledge, and that you will submit truthful information in the future.


The undersigned applicant hereby authorizes the Vinalhaven Community Development Partnership or any of its affiliates or representatives to:

  •  make all inquiries it deems necessary, including business counselors, consultants and partnering agencies, to verify the accuracy of the information provided herein and to determine its correctness

  • publicly share information regarding the name of your business and the timing and amounts of any loans made by VHCDP.
